The Good Ol’ Days!
I’ve been a Diablo veteran player since 8th grade (16 years back) and I remember slouching over my windows XP, Pentium 4 processor doing Barbarian hop-scotch over my best friend from the Cow Level. Treasured moments, nonetheless they didn’t seem to have any better as time let on when Blizzard began to merchandise nearly all of their products through simple mechanics—almost to your point where stats were abysmal. POE Currency retains the classic ARPG style not merely through graphics but stats. The talent tree is immaculate like observing an ancient scroll revealing a household history —only this is your history via your character. The story isn’t bland and progression seems as if it reaches a vast selection through constant creation of numerous characters.
Community
Any MMO should have a solid community to be able to survive as successful game. Path of Exile incorporates a thriving community and appears like it's still growing to the day. Rather than explain more to do with the detail of just what the players of Path of Exile will be to me, I would like to share just what the players wrote when I asked, “Why can you like Path of Exile?”
Reaving-Map said, “Because it’s cancer, dude.”
Well, there you've got it. Path of Exile is cancer and anyone touching it is going to be about the path of cancer. Seriously though, some players felt POE Exalted Orb held diversity and immense story with developers constantly patching the material. One player with the username “Lingchi_The_Devourer” explained if you ask me his answer why he has spent over 1,000 hours playing Path of Exile.
“As I have played Diablo and Diablo 2 I was always interested inside the dark, gothic feel. When Diablo 3 was released I was insulted and disappointed in the action. It felt like I was playing a crummy version of WoW 2.5! Path of Exile can be quite much around the reality of human corruption and doesn’t shy away from showing it. The dynamic play style and builds makeup for depth, allowing individuals to experiment by trying new things— making replay vastly better.”
Many Hours Later…
Do I feel Path of Exile still retains the charm 24 months ago? Hold on, as I kill this dungeon boss and score some epic loot…
Yes, I believe fans on the series—new and old—help keep coming back in this ARPG until death do us part.
